Mia & Pole – Terms & Booking Policies
By booking a session with Mia & Pole, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Services
Mia & Pole provides private pole training, flexibility training, conditioning sessions, and virtual instruction. Sessions may include movement instruction, technique breakdowns, conditioning exercises, and flexibility training.
Arrival & Session Start
Clients should arrive at least 5 minutes early to prepare for their session. Sessions will begin at the scheduled start time.
Late arrivals may result in reduced session time to respect other scheduled bookings.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time.
Missing a scheduled session or arriving excessively late will result in forfeiture of the session. No-shows are considered a completed session.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Sessions must be canceled at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
Each booking allows one reschedule request if made within the required notice period.
Cancellations made within 6 hours of the scheduled session will result in forfeiture of the session.
Refund Policy
All sessions, services, and training packages are non-refundable.
Health & Participation
By booking a session, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in physical activity. Clients should disclose any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations prior to participating.
If you have medical concerns about participating in physical activity, please consult a healthcare professional before training.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Participation in pole training, flexibility training, and conditioning exercises involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, falls, or injury.
By participating in sessions with Mia & Pole, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with training.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Mia & Pole from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for maintaining a safe training environment and following all safety instructions provided during sessions.
Clients are responsible for listening to their bodies, communicating discomfort, and participating within their physical limits.
Training Under the Influence
Clients may not participate in sessions while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Sessions may be canceled immediately if safety concerns arise.
Respectful Conduct
A respectful and professional environment is expected at all times. Inappropriate behavior, harassment, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the session without refund.
For virtual sessions, clients must ensure they have:
• Zoom installed and ready before the session
• A stable internet connection
• A safe training space
• Properly installed equipment if pole work is included
Technical issues on the client side may reduce session time.
Recording & Intellectual Property
Sessions may not be recorded, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
All instruction, demonstrations, and materials provided during sessions remain the intellectual property of Mia & Pole and may not be reproduced or used commercially.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes will be handled in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Agreement
By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Policies.
